Dear Friends,


The new recording is finaly coming to closure. Since the production start in May we’ve been working very hard on the recording, and apart from some final fine tuning we have completed everything. However, our record company Universal will wait with the release till January to be able to prepare for all the different markets. We are very excited about our new record – we’ve enjoyd working with it and witnessing all our ideas come to life.

We want to thank everybody who took part in our "Global C idea" Approximately 65 people from all corners of the globe recorded and sent us their C-chord - that's an incredible energy of sound! We have included everyone in the final mix of "Elegie", creating a massive ending of the new album. All participating names will be credited in the CD booklet and also on our web-page. It was an exciting experiment for us, and we want to thank everyone for this fantastic response. Who knows -maybe we all have created a new world record?

We have also done a long photo shoot for new pictures – i.e. press, promo, cover etc. But we have just begun discussing the cover ideas. The title of the album will be “Once in a Red Moon” and we look forward to seeing the finished product as it has now taken us almost two years to complete this CD.

As we mostly have been in production, there has not been much time for any other activities.

We both took a break during July which was an essential time for recharging batteries.

Rolf went home to Kristiansand where he had plenty of days to rest and explore the southern coast by his boat. Fionnuala went to her family in the US, as well as found some time to explore parts of Wyoming on Horseback.

From here out to Christmas we will be finalising final details of the CD for its release as well as working on the sheet music which hopefully will also be ready to coincide with the release. We also look forward to putting a new concert programme together and hopefully will be able to get out on the road again as soon as poss.

Dont forget to check in on our photo journal. This is almost like a photo diary of the recording process. We have added some new pictures now of the last round of studio work .

We would also like to add how deeply shocked and disturbed we are by the events on the 11th of September.We sympathise with all our friends in America for all the grief and sorrow they have been put through and hope and pray for all involved.
