November/December
2002
Dear Friends,
It's hard to believe that
this is the final journal of 2002!
This year certainly flew by and we are now preparing for the year ahead, planning
concerts and further promo of our new CD Once In A Red Moon.
So far it has done really well and the response has been terrific.
We thank you all so much for your support and interest throughout the making
and release of this CD.
Ireland is becoming an
important country and market for us, and we are currently preparing for our
first mini tour there in February (See news
flash).
Because of this we were invited to perform on a TV awards show in November.
This was great fun to do and well received.

We then found ourselves
back in Ireland during December performing live with the RTE Concert Orchestra.
This was for a special Christmas Eve TV- show, recorded in a beautiful Church
in Ireland called St Patrick's in Maynooth town. This was the first time for
us to perform live with this orchestra since winning the Eurovision in 1995.
It felt real good to perform with them again.
Of the entire year December
was perhaps the most important month to us, as we went back to our old haunt
in Kristiansand Norway and got stuck into recording some new demos. Prior to
this Rolf had not composed since releasing Once In A Red Moon. We both needed
some space away from studio with time to recharge the creative batteries.
It was good to get back
though and to work with Alf Emil Eik again, and to rekindle the passion and
drive for recording. We hope to record again in Feb and slowly build up enough
demos for our next CD.

The beginning of the New
Year will find us back in Ireland again promoting the concerts and recording
also in Windmill with the wonderful Chinese Er-hu player Ding Fei Fei, whom
we met and performed with during our last visit to Hong Kong in March. More
about this in the next journal!
Meanwhile we would like
to wish each and every one of you a peaceful and happy New Year, and may it
bring all you wish for.
Thank you so much for all your support in us.
With love
Fionnuala and Rolf
